
The Government of Ghana has received financing from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) towards the cost of the Rural Enterprises Programme (REP) and and intends to apply part of the proceeds for the recruitment of consulting services.
The use of any IFAD financing shall be subject to IFAD’s approval, pursuant to the terms and conditions of the financing agreement, as well as IFAD’s rules, policies and procedures. IFAD and its officials, agents and employees shall be held harmless from and against all suits, proceedings, claims, demands, losses and liability of any kind or nature brought by any party in connection with Rural Enterprises Programme (REP).
REP now invites sealed bids, expression of interests (EOIs) and proposals from eligible entities for the provision various works, goods and services. Procurement under REP is open to all eligible firms and individuals who wish to respond. Subject to the restrictions noted in the specific procurement notices and accompanying document, eligible entities may associate with other bidders to enhance their capacity to successfully deliver the works, goods and related services advertised by REP.

The Rural Enterprises Programme (REP) is part of Ghana Government’s efforts to reduce poverty and improve living conditions in the rural areas. It is an excellent example of the commitment of the Government of Ghana and development partners to scale up successful projects.
