This component aims at upgrading the level of technology of the rural MSE sector by facilitating promotion and dissemination of appropriate technologies in the form of skills training, manufacture of processing equipment, testing and promotion of prototypes. REP is establishing 30 new RTFs, in addition to the 21 existing RTFs (established under REP I &II), as centres for skills training and technology dissemination.
