What is the REP ENABLE Youth Programme?


ENABLE Youth is a new government initiative offered through the Rural Enterprises Programme (REP), under the Ministry of Trade and Industry, with funding from the African Development Bank. The initiative seeks to create business and employment opportunities for the youth through improved access to technical and business skills for agribusiness.

What are the objectives of ENABLE Youth?


1. Developing an incubator system with capacity to build human capital; provide technical, infrastructure, and organizational facilities; and offer business development services in agribusiness to young entrepreneurs;

2. Building internal capacity to improve the technical and managerial skills of agripreneurs to enable them to establish and grow sustainable agricultural ventures; and

3. Documenting lessons learned, successes, and challenges in establishing youth agribusiness incubators to inform future best practices and relevant stakeholders.
